One Voice is a fun and friendly adult mixed a’cappella harmony choir. We don’t use any musical instruments and rely purely on the beauty of the human voice to produce wonderful harmonies.
We meet on Thursday evenings (during school term dates) from 7.30-9.30pm in the Community Hall, Earlsdon Methodist Church Hall.
In the main our songs fall under the wide umbrella of World Music and so our repertoire is extremely diverse. We sing many traditional songs from around the world, usually in their original language: Swahili, Russian, Macedonian, Georgian, Maori and even 12th Century Icelandic! We’ve also been known to sing in English.
If you’d like to come and join the fun, please contact us for more information.
- NO experience needed
- NO need to be able to read music (all songs are taught by ear)
- NO auditions
- You’ll NEVER be asked to sing solo in front of everyone (unless you want to!)
- EVERYONE is welcome! (but, as it’s an adult choir, you do need to be 16 or over)
We look forward to welcoming you!
Our session dates for the remainder of the summer term are:
June 16th, 23rd, 30th and July 7th, 14th and 21st.
